For me, Mother’s Day began and ended in superb fashion. The day began with a cup of coffee in front of the fire in our backyard and ended in the same manner, with the exception of iced tea for coffee. It was lovely. In addition, we could not have asked for better weather.
I almost feel guilty for being so blessed with such a spectacular day!
I have several photos and a video clip to share, but I think I want to break them down in seperate entries, because they each deserve their “own space”.

I’m glad you had a great day!
I’m so cold blooded that I thought the wind was chilly, although just down the way from us at the lake was a woman in a bathing suit, so it must have just been my “cold blood” again… lol

It was a bit chilly to me in the morning, but the fire took care of that. In the afternoon, I was just perfect temperature-wise. I was working pretty hard at times and it was enjoyable not being HOT! I have a few (well, quite a bit more than few) too many pounds on this old body…and heat and me just do not get along. When it gets hot, I want to be finished with all the heavy lifting and stuff so all I have to do is go out and water in the morning/evening and then sit under a tree in the backyard….sipping some iced tea, of course!
