Wow, you weren’t kidding! Here it’s spider mites. We’re drowning in them!

I should google spider mites, because I am not certain what they are. Maybe that is what’s eating the rest of my garden…lol. As I was watering the tomatoes last night I noticed several cobwebs with spiders running back and forth from each of the plants.
Last night, when I went back out to bring in my dehydrator, I found 6 grasshoppers sitting around and on the dehydrator. They were having a party I guess.

Oooh, you poor thing! Here DH is picking about 10 cabbage worms off the cabbage and broccolli and collards every day. Luckily he doesn’t mind, cuz I hate touching those things…

    Good luck in your battles!

The scourge of a farmer grasshoppers are a like a plague. Greenwise I have no idea what you can do, even chemicals don’t work on them well.

Hey, are your plants twins with mine? I have some sweet potatoes that look just like that! Right now I’m trying the traditional soapy/oily spray mix, but I’m tossing in a bit of tea tree oil to see if that does anything. It’s just a random long shot at this point. Good Luck!
